Apple claims that the A18 is up to 30% faster than the CPU of the iPhone 15 and up to 40% faster on the GPU. Both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus run on iOS 18. Apple has also introduced the Action button in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus that can be customised for different tasks like recording, memo, etc. The Apple iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch display while the iPhone 16 Plus features a 6.7-inch display with up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The new iPhones are also IP68 rated. The new ‘Camera Control’ button lets users access the camera with just a click. Users can access visual intelligence features through it.

Price

The iPhone 16 Pro will start at $999 and the 16 Pro Max at $1,199. All iPhone 16 models will be available for pre-order from Friday and will be available in stores from September 20. If we talk about the same, the starting price of iPhone 16 in India will be Rs 79,900 and the starting price of iPhone 16 Plus will be Rs 89,900, with 128 GB base model.

Apple launched its latest Watch Series 10 starting at $399, which the company claims is the thinnest and fastest-charging watch ever.

The Series 10 will be powered by Apple’s new S10 chip, which includes a four-core neural engine that will allow machine learning activities and power features such as double tapping on the device, Siri dictation, as well as crash and fall detection. Apple also highlighted health-related features of its watch, such as sleep apnea detection. The watch will monitor a new metric called breathing disturbances during sleep and notify users if they show signs of sleep apnea. AirPod models Apple’s AirPods 4, powered by a new custom H2 chip, start at $129 and come with improved audio quality and personal spatial audio.
